KD Wallace Optometry opened in July 2004. We are a completely independent practice owned fully by Kevin Wallace.

We aim to provide excellent clinical eyecare to the surrounding community and to provide them with quality vision correction at competitive prices. We have invested in the latest technology to ensure a thorough examination of your eyes and for your complete comfort throughout the process.

WHY OPTOMETRY?

The name of the practice comes from the modern term for an ‘ophthalmic optician’. An optician has come to mean someone who provides glasses and although we do that we do provide a lot more in ensuring the health of your eyes.

Optometrist is now commonly used to describe this type of practitioner so we felt it was appropriate to use this in the company title.
