Kevin Wallace
Bsc(hons) MCOptom

Kevin Wallace gained his degree in Optometry from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1999 after attending Corstorphine Primary School and then George Watson’s College.

He worked in different locations in and around Edinburgh before opening his own practice in 2004.

As well as working in practice he is the Optometric Advisor for NHS Lothian and Borders, chair of AOP Scotland and a Senior Postgraduate Tutor for NHS Education for Scotland.

He regularly educates other optometrists in a variety of topics with a particular interest in the legal aspects of Optometry and the Scottish NHS regulations.

He was in the first cohort of optometrists to pass the Ocular Therapeutics Course at Glasgow Caledonian University and after undertaking a hospital placement hopes to qualify as an independent prescriber in 2011.
